A Summery of How We Videotape Your Wedding Day
I always arrive prior to our start time. After setting up in preparation for video taping the ceremony (which includes using a wireless mic), I immediately find the wedding parties and capture candid pre-ceremony footage: of wedding parties preparing for the ceremony, candid shots of any photo sessions, and shots of guests arriving. This footage has it's natural recorded audio.
I document everything... including nicely framed detailed shots for creating introduction photomontages, which are set to music. These stills include: Flower arrangements, the wedding program, the alter, bride's bouquet, reception hall table layout and close-ups, wedding cakes, guest book, gift table, etc… Everything that makes for a good still.
Of course the entire ceremony will have its natural recorded audio, from the wireless lapel mic for clear audio.
I candidly videotape your photographer's formals photo session, and create a video montage with transitions and music background of your choice. This becomes a separate chapter choice on your DVDs. As your photographer is finishing your formals, I go to cover the cocktail hour, to capture footage of your guests and get ready for your entrance into the reception.
I capture all the highlights of your reception: wedding party entrance, first dances, any toasting, cutting of the cakes, bouquet and garter toss, and more. I also capture many candid shots of guests dancing and sitting at their tables, perhaps waving and sending their congratulations. I do videotape interviews with guests; however, if you specifically want interviews please let me know. Overall, I try to be an inconspicuous presence, so as not to impose on you and your guests. Some couples prefer not to have us do any interviews. If the package you choose includes me being there until the end of your reception, I of course cover the couple leaving their reception party.
As most everything I shoot is good footage, you receive over 90% of all the footage. In editing, I create an opening photo montage set to music, add transitions between most shots, create the Formals video sequence set to music of your choice, and create the chapter choices for your DVDs... Instant access to Pre-Ceremony, Ceremony, Formals, Reception, and a Highlights sequence if this is part of your package. All DVDs have custom color printing directly on the DVDs. Contact me if you have any other questions not covered here! My turn around time is only two weeks.
